1. ACCREDITATION Our courses are accredited NATIONALLY, which allows all other training organisations to recognise your prior learning (including universities with specific courses). This allows other providers to allow course credits and may even offer a pathway to university. Any pathway to university is subject to that specific university admission procedure and it is up to you to check.

2. CORE VALUES All our administration staff and faculty trainers hold a strong connection with the college core values. We promote these values in our own teaching and disciplining, also encouraging to facilitate the development of these values in all our students.

3. ASSESSMENT PROCEDURES We are a competency-based organisation and your assessment is competent /not yet competent. You will then be graded on how well you perform the task eg High Distinction, Distinction, Credit, Pass. All our assessment procedures are conducted in a fair, flexible, accessible and safe environment.

4. CURRICULUM We purchase all our training packages from the National Training Authority. These qualifications do change from time to time and Advanced Careers College will adopt the changes instantly if Advanced Careers College feels it is advantageous to the student. Wherever possible, faculty trainers will incorporate innovative teaching methods to broaden the students thought processes and learning abilities. We reserve the right to change any courses without notice.

5. DISCOUNTS Qualification payments made in advance will be provided with a discount. Please check your qualification outline for further details of pricing structure.

6. CUSTOMER SERVICE All of our administration staff and faculty trainers will provide each student and guest with quality professional service. To ensure our service is maintained, any concerns or issues must be made in writing. Issue/Incident Report Forms (available from Reception) are to be completed and handed to Reception. You will be advised of the action to be taken by the Quality Control Officer.

7. EMPLOYMENT All our faculty trainers work very hard to develop your employability skills. Each trainer holds strong industry connections. You will be given wide exposure to the variety of skills necessary to gain employment. Our success rate for graduate employment is what we are very proud of and is why many students choose Advanced Careers College.

8. WORK EXPERIENCE This is a compulsory requirement in all our major courses. We encourage you to find your own location, however, we are here to help if you have difficulty in doing so. Many of your past students have secured employment from their work experience.

9. INDUSTRY EXPOSURE You will be given many opportunities to take part in specific industry days within the college and in the workplace. This enhances your knowledge of expectation and skills required for successful employment at the completion of your qualification.

10. TEXT BOOKS Workbooks are included in your course cost. Reference books are available for loan, or from your local library.

11. TIMETABLE You will be issued with a timetable at the commencement of each term. Use this as your guide throughout the course.

12. ISSUING OF QUALIFICATIONS Your qualification will be issued at the Graduation Ceremony held at the end of the year provided you have completed all course requirements. Please note that if you have not paid your course fees in full you will not be issued with your qualification.

Advanced Careers College is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO NO 90794) and as such has met the requirements of the Australian Qualifications Framework set down by the Government. The courses conducted at Advanced Careers College are fully accredited and recognised nationally. We are also AUStudy and Abstudy approved (subject to specified criteria).
